Privacy: what we count

This site counts how many people open each page. It does that with no cookies and no personal data. Here is what that means, in plain words.

What this site counts

We count page views. When your browser loads a page, one small request goes to a public counter and records three things: which page was opened, the date, and that one visit happened. Nothing else travels with it. We do not store your name, your email address, your IP address, or anything else about you. The counter keeps totals only, so every number you see is a sum of visits, never a record of a person.

What the Accept button changes

The banner at the bottom of the site has two buttons. Accept stores one flag in your browser, on this device only, that says you have already been here today. That flag lets us count repeat visits apart from first visits. It is not a cookie, it holds no personal data, and nothing identifying is sent with it.

How to opt out

Choose Essential only on the banner and nothing extra is stored. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings at any time, or block counting scripts with a browser extension. The site works exactly the same either way: every page, link, video and form still does its job.

What we never do

We do not sell data, we do not run ads, and we do not build profiles of visitors. There is no account to create on this site and no login to remember. The count exists for one reason: to show us which pages people actually read, so we keep the useful ones current.
